Drawing the street scenery of Willow’s Grove is making me long for a vacation back in my ancestral home of Lycoming County, PA. It also meant dusting off my archives in the morgue of photos from that area. I’ve been drawing mostly space, alien planets and interior ship backgrounds for nearly 2 years and my landscape skills are in serious need of exercise. True, we did see some scenery back in Max & Crystal’s fantasy, but not much. Now that they’re home, and for all of Volume 6, too, I’m going to have to really practice! Whew! I loves me a challenge!
