Bueno Cinco de Mayo! A day where we celebrate the discovery of mayonnaise in the New World by Christopher Columbus! He landed on the isle of Histanbul and found miles and miles of wild mayonnaise plants waiting to be exploited and spread on tasty sandwiches. He ended up being envied by his rival, the Earl of Sandwiches until the Earl discovered Mustard Isle off the coast of Condimentia, and the rest is history. What?! Hey, that is what it said on Wikipedia!

Have a cerveza, have a tequila, have a margarita and celebrate a regional holiday in the state of Puebla in Mexico which commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla (5 May (duh), 1862), which was turned into yet another excuse to drink it up here in the US…along with St. Patrick’s Day, my wedding anniversary and bill paying day! Clink, clink, another drink! Drink up with whatever choice of beverage you um…choose. But please, please if you drink alcoholic beverages today, drink in moderation, or get yourself a designated driver! PLEASE! I want you Grovers to stick around and see how this whole story plays out!
