WG 465 Missed Opportunity
Okay Grovers…I need your input here…
I’ve been pondering changing Melanie’s hair style. It has been like it is since the 1990’s and I feel it is time to make a change. Your suggestions can be posted in the comments of this strip and I will weigh each one and the one that I like the most, will become her new hairstyle. Keep in mind, it has to be something that is easily drawn, so nothing too complicated like Bo Derek from “10” while she is running on the beach…lol

I recently changed up the look of my characters recently, including -my- Mel. So I say, DO IT! Change is good!
Oh, it’s not a matter of doing it or not, it is what to change it to?
I assume a Mary Tyler Moore hairstyle is out. ;p

Since mothers’ hair styles can be influenced by their daughters’ hair styles, how about something between the two. How far and in which direction would be up to how close the two are.
I should have updated her hairstyle months ago when the crew returned home. I hadn’t drawn her for nearly 2 years, so I just went with her usual hair (although before the February 2009 appearance, it had been nearly 5 since I had drawn her last). I guess it will just have to be a case of sitting down and sketching different hair on her.
