WG 434 Upcoming Reunion
I’ve been wanting to get back to the root of Willow’s Grove being a rather spooky town ever since the crew got back from space. Even though the base of the strip is about relationships between friends & family, the town has always, or rather, has supposed to have an element where, yes, it is spooky, but everyone treats it as normal. As much as I can (while the main characters are in town), I will have either a story arc relating to this missing but implied element, or something going on in the background (like the ghost on the cell phone in panel one) to remind you, kind readers, that this town celebrates Halloween year round in spirit.

Not sure if you watch robot chicken, but ever see the Star Wars one where Jar Jar shows up to see anakin after he’s become vader, annoys Vader so much that he puts Jar Jar out an airlock, and then shows back up as a force ghost so they can have fun forever and ever? Sometimes I wonder if the people in Willow’s Grove run into that problem with all the ghosts they have.

The fine folks at WG have learned to live together, although I suspect it hasn’t always been as such…but that backstory will have to wait for another time 😀
