Seat belts on a space ship? What a wonderful idea! I don’t know how many of you have seen the trailer for the new Star Trek flick coming out in May 2009, but in it Cap’n Kirk actually pads McCoy on the shoulder and says, “Buckle up!” I would imagine it is right before they shake the camera back and forth to simulate the effect of having the tires kicked. Anyway, I thought it would be a nice touch to have seat belts on the ship Max and Bob are on…just so they wouldn’t be squished on the back wall of the common room. Would be a very short adventure indeed if they were.
