WG Halloween Special 2004
Here is the Halloween Special from 2004. After all the complaining Max had done over the years about Bob’s over-celebrating of Halloween, he finally got into the spirit, but ran into trouble as he ran against character. This was the last Halloween Special in the Grove until the current one as Willow’s Grove went on an extended (albeit unintentionally) hiatus due to the work being done on the webcomic “Sam Galaxy” for ibgames. I had planned to continue Willow’s Grove after finishing the first one, but followed up with a second Sam Galaxy shortly after the first one ended and found I couldn’t hold a full time job and produce two webcomics at the same time. Sam Galaxy ended up running from 2005-2008, spanning 4 episodes for a total of 83 installments. Once I finished the 4th SG, I decided to bring Willow’s Grove back in the same format I did Sam Galaxy in as I got comfortable working that size for 3 years. Doing the math, I calculated if I would have gone from 2003 – present with the Grove, I would be fast approaching WG#500. Wow, look at how long that tangent went! I totally went from introducing the Halloween Special from 2004 to explaining where Willow’s Grove went to for 3 years…lol
