Willow’s Grove on Sunday? I’ve been wanting to expand to Sunday with a traditional Sunday Strip not related to the on going space saga the characters are involved in, that or a Sunday Comic with Nick in a spin-off strip having him go through his day to day life in his hometown on that island he lives on. So let me know what you think of this grand experiment and I may possibly do some of each; a regular gag strip like the old Willow’s Grove but in a Sunday comic format on some Sundays and then every so often toss in a comic with Nick on other Sundays.

Otherwise, sit back and enjoy a Sunday strip inspired by real life events of my family.

(Oh and out of necessity, this strip is 100% digital…digital sketch, digital inking and digital colors all because Epson is inept at tech support and I still cannot use my 6 month old scanner on my new computer, so that is why the artwork is a little off)

Stumble it!

Your artwork is just fine buddy. I love your comic, has the right balance of everything. Just the right about of dialogue, beautiful professional looking art, and an animated style. And oh yeah, it’s also funny as hell 😀

Thank you both for the comments. I guess it is just knowing what the pencils usually look like and I can’t yet reproduce that with the tablet, that I mentioned the art being off. You know that moment when you look at what it ends up like and what you had in your head? Of course that means even more practice for me and the tablet!…lol Thank you Praveen and George…I’m glad you liked my surprise sunday comic!:D

Hey I think it’s great to do this- work outside your normal subject matter, and it gives readers something fresh to look forward to on Sundays. Keep it up!
