WG 100 MWAAAA!

Willow’s Grove has reached its first milestone of the relaunch. Here we are 7 months later and we have reached strip number 100! This is the second longest run so far and we have reached 100 sooner this time around. The most strips I have done on a single run is 186. If I was to include all the old strips along with this one, we would be celebrating about 400. Unfortunately, the digital versions of the others are not all available. The originals are here, but I would have to rescan some and letter them again. What a project that would be!

Oh well, onward and upward, towards strip number 200 of Willow’s Grove 4.0! Thanks for staying with me. Stick around as there is plenty of storyline to come! Volume 4 script has been written in rough draft and the outline for Volume 5 is done. Besides, if you left now, you might miss a very special episode of Willow’s Grove (actually, this takes place at the end of Volume 4)!

Stumble it!

Congratulations on #100, Karl! That’s a great milestone to hit, and I wish you a million more. Really dug the colors in this one.

Thanks, George. Having fun making it in color. I was actually thinking of having this whole volume in color from the moment they stepped out of the Starblazer onto the Ghost Planet, ala The Wizard of Oz.

    happy 100! awesome!

Your work really looks terrific with color… I hope it doesn’t take you that much longer, I wish I could update in color every time. The middle panel is great, love the swirly smoke!

Thanks, Dawn. The only time stretch for the color is the detailed boxes, like the middle box. Otherwise, it is about the same to grayscale it as it is to color as all the colors are assigned, by name, in my palette in PS.
