    That looks kind of like the Short S.45 Solent. I don’t see any landing gear doors. Did it take off from the water? Willow’s Grove is a more interesting place than I thought if they have an airport that serves boatplanes.

      It’s a Short Empire. Willow’s Grove has a wide creek running through it with a nice deep, straight run. Wasn’t designed for boat plane landings and take off’s but Fitz is a veteran of the war. Wink wink

        So, then, by default the creek runs near the airport and Fitz was using it as a convenient staging point. Otherwise, why meet at the airport?
