I’ve always wanted to slap this character! I appreciate you doing it, figuratively at least! [wink] May Crystal Waters be flushed! And I’m not being murky about it! …crap… I’m out of puns…
When I first created this character, I had a long, drawn out story arc for her. It had a definite beginning, middle and end with things I can’t reveal at this time, but she definitely had an end. I always kept it vague as to what she did or didn’t do and dropped bread crumbs along the way (some were genuine but a lot were MacGuffins).
Whether she deserves a slapping, I’ll leave it up to you Grovers. Are we at that end of the character arc of Crystal Waters, now Crystal Swan? Unfortunately, I can’t reveal that right now…but somehow, being left at the altar doesn’t seem like a fitting end, at least in my mind and what I have written down;) Was it a satisfying slap? Sure, it felt good to take her down a notch, but in her current mindset, is it really wise to spurn her or could it possibly serve as fuel for revenge? Or is this whole paragraph yet another MacGuffin? 😉
