I might be sensing the slightest bit of sarcasm, but it’s a bit to subtle to tell really. Meh, not every problem needs some long complicated convoluted solution. In Next generation Star Trek I always wanted someone to sit there while a person spouted out some long technobabble about crossing this, and bypassing that and then while looking at them in disbelief and say: “or, we could just flip the switch right behind you. It’s made to do just the thing you’re trying to make happen except way less complicated.”
oh the sarcasm is there….lol
This is actually based on a comment left by a reader back when they had to go to Priox to fetch the ghosts and one day they were heading out and the very next strip they were back. I believe the comment was something along the line of “that was fast.”
But it’s true also that I could’ve stretched it out and shown some of what went on during the trip back with a cargo hold full of confused ghosts…AND I could have had some fun by stretching out Crystal being hypnotized by the errant beam instead of within two strips, she’s back to her old self doggin’ it with Max.
Either way, I am becoming like Star Trek: TNG and what I called the Star Trek Ending where it was 55 minutes of drama or a problem and within the last 5 minutes it was solved rather neatly and abruptly. But in my defense, I do have to adhere to the master plan to fit it all into place…lol
