We conclude our Halloween Special for 2010! I hope you enjoyed our gruesome tale. For those ghosts & goblins who came in at the end, you can go here to read it from the beginning, straight through, as it was meant to be read (at least for those with little patience).

It was fun to bring this spooky tale directly from the crypt that is my mind. I have a few tales I had written as short stories years ago, like last year’s story, and one similar to the one I brought to you this year. The events were altered a bit from an idea I got after my daughter invited several people to her birthday party this year. Some of them said they were going to be there and we planned for a bunch of her friends, but when the time arrived to start the party, no one showed. A few hours later, a couple of friends did arrive, but not the amount we expected. I immediately smiled, and turned the disappointment into an idea which paired with the short story from long ago, became the special you just read.
