Way back in 1996, when I first brought Willow’s Grove to the internet, I would take the month of October and present a Willow’s Grove Halloween Special. It usually involved Bob coming up with some wacky new prop to add to his yard haunt and most of the time, Max was the unwitting victim when it blew up or went horribly wrong. I’m now continuing this tradition, but with a new twist. This Halloween Special will involve a crew member telling a spooky tale, using the characters from the Willow’s Grove universe. This year’s tale is based on an unpublished short story I wrote many years ago and I have modified to fit in with our characters in this strip. The story will interrupt the main storyline, which will continue in the month of November with Volume 3, so sit back, turn down the lights and enjoy as I present this Halloween tale Monday through Friday throughout the rest of October.
