WG 362 Summer Fun

Here we go with Volume 6! I keep telling myself to keep my panels simple so I can get through a few inking & flats sessions in one day instead of taking one day to do one strip. So what do I do? Make a very complex opening installment for the start of Volume 6…LOL!

Stumble it!

Seriously wow Karl, the amount of detail in that second panel is amazing. Both are great, but that second one just catches the eye.

Thanks Ken 🙂 I spent most of my time on that strip doing box 2. It was originally going to be a one panel comic for today, but I wanted to show some of the township, too, so I rushed a panel into box 1. Looking back, and artists always do this, I would have loved to have spent as much time on box 1 as well, but deadlines are deadlines and we have to do that sometimes. There’s probably even more detail I would have put in box 2 as well:)

    That second panel is beautiful.

Took me a while to find the airborne kid who owned that shadow; I love stuff like that!

Thank you. I enjoyed working on that panel. In fact, it was a couple of days of building, stepping away for a while, building some more, stepping away again. I think that panel took up the most layers ever in a Willow’s Grove comic!
