A simulation by the podship? Manufacturing traffic (maybe an illusion) and replicating store supplies to keep the contained prisoners from knowing they’ve been abducted. Well since that’s the only function I can imagine the podship being for. Maybe when Vol’s race made it, it was for studying races in their natural habitat without disturbing them unduly.
That would make it a simulation inside a simulation. Max is surprised by traffic as there isn’t any to see due to the fact that they are all trapped on board. To make it seem like they are still in the town, the podship is designed to, through relays, keep the captured community connected via the communication methods they normally use, in other words, internet, television, radio and telephone. However, their methods are flawed if you think about it as what community stays in one place all the time? They all, at one time or another would go outside of their town, but alas, they discovered all too soon (and probably sooner than the Nexus thought they would) that they were trapped. But how about food? That would be a gigantic processor to replicate food. Mail? You can’t fake magazine subscriptions…lol…so, just how is this being done, and what exactly did Max step into? Tune in Tuesday to find out;)
