See I’ve been wondering about this to a degree, it’s a bit like Star Wars . Simply because they killed the Emperor in the last movie didn’t mean they defeated the empire. Well, Max and crew may have killed the Nexus’ emperor, but does that mean the rest of the Nexus went with him?
The death of the Emperor put an end to the Nexus as we know it. Cut off the head of the snake and the body dies. Basically, the members of the Nexus, outside of the Emperor were just following out of fear of what he would do to them should they not follow. What they’ll do now that they’re free? Hasn’t been written yet;)
